...on zap.dog. The pic propagated to rumbly and diversispirutus but isn't set as header. I'm unable to access profile- or cover-photos on either (streams) instance ATM (403).

It's because of the "space" bug in the folder name, if you create a folder with no space between the letters you can enter.

But, anyway, I find this apache BUG absurd, and in every sense, unacceptable. Sometimes it feels like going backwards instead of going forward. Looks like something from the 80’s.

It's complicated. Apache had a security update recently and broke millions of sites on the internet. If you're running a server that is using Apache,

if you've already fixed this by editing .htaccess, just carry on with your life.

otherwise do this:

git pull
cp htaccess.dist .htaccess

It seems that the 'cover photo' problem is different from the other, for example, in the hubzilla site with the same apache problem I can also change the cover photo, while in streams I can just change the profile photo.

@A.min , try to enter diversispiritus for changing the profile photo (not the cover but profile), it worked here with my experimenting channel

Now I'm in Rumbly , which is uptodate, and I can get into those folders, it seems that it doesn't suffer from the apache problem anymore, but, apparently, the cover photo problem still exists, so it probably has no relation to the apache bug, but it is a new bug.
