Well it seems my data router went routing packets into space soon after I left (of course) so I couldn't provide daily updates if I tried. If you tried to send email it may have bounced after 3 days. Sigh... But as it turns out I didn't even try. Didn't find out about the server outage until this morning. It's best that way. If I would have known about it earlier I might have fretted during the trip even though there's nothing that could be done short of driving home and rebooting it. Was a day when I was a slave to machines. They're supposed to run 24/7 and I was the guy in charge of fixing 'em if they weren't. 24/7. But no more.

Bella's party was fun - as was the dance recital, as was pretty much everything else except the weather. Of course. Guess the store was hoppin' on Saturday. Oh, too much to tell so I'm not gonna' try. Drove through a forest fire on the way home. Was watching a power pole completely ravaged by flames and almost completely burnt to a crisp about oh, 75 feet away. Then my eyes followed the power lines it was holding up. Uhm, I'm going to be driving right underneath them is 4-3-2... I'm glad this car has afterburners.
