The laptop is finally deceased. This was also the coffee table computer where I did most of my ranting from. Had to temporarily relocate.

Otherwise I'm trying to tame the cash flow beast. It's a tough one to ride. The upturn last week was encouraging enough that I bought a couple of things on faith. Shouldn't oughta' do that. This week everything died again just as the invoices are coming in. Sigh... It's a very delicate balance trying to build a cash reserve while pumping all the profits back into building up the inventory.

The army is putting out a video game at the cost of a few million. They're going to give it away. Said to mimic real life modern combat. Nuthin's free. They want to identify the natural born killers - those that can shoot accurately and quickly and without emotion and will be eighteen soon enough. I'm sure those that find the amulet of yendor or whatever the prize is will also find a nice little sign-up bonus.
