Sick today. Alternating between long bouts of rest and loading concrete. I mean as long as I can't be around anybody might as well do some hard labor and see if I can sweat the fever away. Or was that just for snake bites? I'm sweating buckets right now so we'll see.

It's extremely rare for me to give a film a five star rating, "Groundhog Day" earned it. A sickly sweet comedy, but one with a story to tell. Tonight I'd like to nominate "A River Runs Through It". Not much to laugh about, but a fine film in any measure of the term. Didn't see it in the theatre, but a priceless addition to the DVD collection. If you only buy two videos in your lifetime, you could do worse.
