A lot of hard work getting all the components together for the store's house PA. But it paid off yesterday in satisfaction. Might have to wait to pay itself off in actual sales. Guy walks in. Wants to try an electric guitar. Can I plug it in? Sure, I say. Uhm, where? Right where you are. But there's no amp. Sure there is. I stick a little wireless bug on the guitar. Play something. Caught him completely off guard. He strums a chord. I've got the processor set for Eddie Van halen playing through a Marshall stack - in a coliseum. Quite loud and in surround sound. Half the guitars in the place start resonating in the key of E (the other half obviously aren't in tune). Dude, this is way cool... he says as he frantically scans the room to find out where this torrent of acoustical energy is emanating from. It's coming from everywhere. He does a couple of runs and a boogie progression. Then sets it down. Wow. After a bit more conversation on the merits of the particular guitar he was trying, he walked away saying wow. Shaking his head a bit... Wow.

I was really beginning to feel left out. They've been telling us for days about the latest email virus. Supposed to have accounted for 1 in 12 emails on the Internet a couple of days ago. But I didn't get any. Wah. I wanted to dissect it. I guess my friends and family are smart enough to not open attachments. That's good. Then today all heck broke loose. Got about 300 of them suckers in a couple of hours. Wasn't from friends and family. It was from my music suppliers. Interesting. I found a couple of mailing lists that I'm on and didn't know about. A couple of suppliers that I've never done business with who have my contact info. Interesting indeed.
