The house has been re-arranged a bit more. Shuffling stuff.
The house has been re-arranged a bit more. Shuffling stuff. The back lawn is, well it's a lawn. Still a few bare spots due to planting right before the Xmas storms hit. But it's green.

I'll also be spending more time at the book racks. I also plan to talk to a couple of the major instrument cartels. Find out what their entry price is and what the dealer terms are. Generally, if you have to ask, you can't afford it. But I wanna' know.
The latest news has Steve Case stepping down from AOL. The cycle is complete. Dog eat dog. For those watching, this is an interesting example of corporate politics. You don't want to piss off the guy with the biggest cajones. In this case, it was Ted Turner. At one point he was declared irrelevant, but he came back swinging.

A programmer is a person who passes as an exacting expert on the basis of
being able to turn out, after innumerable punching, an infinite series of
incomprehensible answers calculated with micrometric precisions from vague
assumptions based on debatable figures taken from inconclusive documents
and carried out on instruments of problematical accuracy by persons of
dubious reliability and questionable mentality for the avowed purpose of
annoying and confounding a hopelessly defenseless department that was
unfortunate enough to ask for the information in the first place.
