Conspiracy? I don't really care if somebody was firing from
Conspiracy? I don't really care if somebody was firing from the grassy knoll or not - though I could probably tell you his name. All you need to know is in the public domain. Who were these people? None of them were typical Americans, and of them, only Jack Ruby could have been considered a typical criminal. JFK was killed by a man who renounced his citizenship to live with his wife in Moscow - and who had just gotten back from a clandestine trip to Cuba. He immediately found a gun and headed to Dallas. He in turn was killed by a known mobster. Why would he do such a thing? Justice? Morally superior? Yah, right. He was a hit man, plain and simple. RFK was killed by a Palestinian. Less than a year after the Arabs got their asses whooped and lost Jerusalem, the Sinai, and the Golan Heights. The one thing the Warren Commision and other investigations never answered was simply 'what was the motive?' If you look at who these people were, you can sort of figure out their motivations. The sad part is that no matter how you put it together, there's no way to reconcile the mob silencing Oswald based on the public record. That's the missing piece of the puzzle and why there will always be a conspiracy theory. It's really pretty simple. Lee was a spook. Not only that, he was a double agent with a James Bond size ego. All the theories have him working for either the KGB/Castro, or the CIA/mafia. Both conflict and leave too many unanswered questions. He was working both sides of the fence. It's the only answer.
I had to look twice at the headline. Authorities Nab 41 Alien Sex Offenders. Ohmygosh. Extra-terrestrial perverts.
Speaking of perverts, whaddya' think ol' Michael Jackson is going to do now? My money says he'll probably commit suicide. A few years ago, he might have been able to get ordained as a Roman Catholic priest and claim celibacy to repair the damage to his public image. Don't think that will work in 2003.
Our military genuises are telling us that they've managed to reduce the number of RPG attacks and suicide bombings. The situation is completely under control. I'm at a loss to understand how they managed to arrive at this conclusion.
A string bass is a huge instrument. I don't even sell them because I've got no place to put them in my shoppe. What might surprise you is that all (or practically all) the string basses being made these days are what is termed 3/4 size. They aren't the full size of the original (4/4) instrument. I've been trying to find out the dimensions of the full size bass but nobody makes them anymore. They're just too darn big.
The girls are away again for a few days. The whole house to myself. What a concept. I'm still trying to figure out how I lost it all. I've got nothing left but my bedroom and a corner of the garage. The rest has been taken over and everything that belongs to me moved into either of those two places. Women do that, you know. In an effort to preserve my sanity, I've carved out a place for a new recording studio, in the cold, cold garage. Sigh. Have to cram it between the brewing supplies and the wood-working tools. But I've tried to explain - I have to have a recording studio. I've been building or rebuilding one for all my adult life. If I don't have one, I'm building one. Always. If I didn't have the garage to work with, I'd throw out the bed and sleep on the floor to cram one into my bedroom. I'd put all my clothes in the garage and carve out a space in the closet if it were big enough. The dining room would be perfect, but alas, it's not mine anymore. That got annexed by the girls. I don't even recognize the place. It's been completely girlified. But this is what I have to do. My last several dwellings have all had an extra room (even though they cost more). One room for me, another for the studio. Now in my own darn house and I've got to go out in the cold to play my music. Sigh.
