So I split the difference.

So I split the difference. Got into the shop at about half past eight and got rid of most of the cardboard. Anyway, let me tell you about this sucky software... the culprit in this case is called QuickBooks. It's software supposedly made for running a small business. Well, some other kind of business - not mine. And mine is pretty darn simple in theory. Right now I'm just plugging everything into an Excel page, but that page is getting a bit long and I want to do reports and stuff that Intuit would normally be better at. OK, so QuickBooks is like $150. I also got Quicken '02 just because it'll track the bank online. Bought the business version for $20 more, or $60. It has everything QuickBooks has, plus it's more suited to the way I do accounting. I think they've got a product identity crisis. Both are made by the same company. I don't see any compelling reason to have bought QuickBooks in retrospect except they sucked me in with advertising. Shame. I'm one of their investors. Hmmm.

It was kinda' cool listening to the pres in S. Korea. Pres. Kim was ensuring his people that the US agreed to this and that and the other thing. Bush wasn't quite as forthright in public. Oh yeah, we're for market economies. Oh so you'll defend them against communist agressors. Huh?

True, it returns "" for false, but "" is an even more interesting
