First phone call of the day: Do you have Schubert's {something} On the Rock? Dunno' I'll check. Oh, and I need piano, flute and clarinet parts. Now there's a hot-selling piece of music. I wonder if the publisher sells more than three a year. That is if it's even published in that format. Wouldn't know where to begin looking. Sorry, you'll have to try elsewhere. Sigh... Looks like it's gonna' be one of those days...
Next call. Not even open yet. Looking for another obscure piece of music. I spend about three hours a day saying nope to some piece of printed music. Now I want voice mail. If you want printed music, press 9. If you want Brahms, press 2. For more options press 6. If you want the Beatles, press 3. You get the idea...
Incoming... That nasty flu-like thing. I've been telling co-workers for years, if you're sick - stay home. We don't want it. The co-workers have been replaced by customers. But for those reading these words, if you're sick - stay home. OK?
