Then I start to crunch some year-end numbers.
Then I start to crunch some year-end numbers. Yeah, the big Xmas season went out with a wimper. But I have no justification in complaining about it. Gross sales are where it's at, and for the quarter, I trounced last year. For the year as well. I'm embarrassed to print the numbers after complaining about the season. The task ahead is to keep those numbers from eroding in the coming months. Actually the task ahead is to double the numbers so I can survive. That'll take some ingenuity...
Then I just start to crunch. Hmmm. Wonder what this three thousand dollar Hamer guitar would sound like through this here Crate half-stack. Can't believe I've had them all this time and not tried them out to see what they can do. Oh, my... the notes kind of hang out there in suspense. Then all of a sudden, they squawk in a beautiful tortured agony. Then they ring like a bell for a second or two before settling down again. Ooh, this is different. I like it.
