Bechtel won the contract to rebuild Iraq. Of course due to security concerns nobody else was allowed to bid. Do you own any shares of Bechtel? Of course not. It's a private corporation, like all the major defense contractors. That way there's no scrutiny of how much money they make. But you'd be surprised how many loyal republicans own these otherwise secret shares. If Enron was still around, my guess is that they would've gotten the oil contract. Now I suppose it'll have to go to Haliburton.

Kellogg's is pushing their potting soil product on the radio. Good stuff. Bat guano and worm casings and probably some pigeon dung as well. Whoa... Brand confusion sets in. Kellogg's. Worm casings? On the morning radio? I'll pass on the corn flakes, thank you.

It is supposed that a gang of international art thieves carefully planned a heist around the fall of Baghdad. At least that's the word from the curators. I suspect Saddam's family members or insiders personally. Of course nobody bothered to run the license plates on that car seen leaving the museum with the giant clay pots sticking out the trunk.
