Solved the directory sorting problem without too much extra

Solved the directory sorting problem without too much extra effort. For now I'll just stick all the archive names in a list and read from that. I can control how things get entered into the list. I can't always control the order things show up in a directory. I'm doing a bit more testing but will put that into place maybe later today. So my end of month script is going to move the file to the archive folder, add the name to the archive list and open a new template. Easy enough.

The Army doesn't want its berets to have "Made in China" labels and wants to cancel the order? I'm sure the factory will be more than happy to put a "Made in USA" label on it for about the same price. Who's going to know they came from Shanghai and not Topeka? In this day and age nothing is nationally pure. Get over it.

Ended up at an anagram generator site and plugged in my name. My favorite out of the list is "vile, rich, magic man". Works for me...

In the "About" link off my home page, there's an interesting story behind the graphic "bottom 5% of all websites". In 1996 I spent a lot of time emailing a gal in New York (Cindy something) who alas I can't seem to dig up in the search pages anymore. But I digress. She had a website called "Off the Beaten Path" which was ranked in the top 5% of non-commercial websites. This was the wild days of the internet and I of course stole the graphic "top 5% of all websites". I altered it in Photoshop, very crudely and displayed it proudly on my site "bottom 5% of all websites". Found a site today that stole my poorly edited version back in '96 and mangled it further in photoshop to say "bottom 95% of all websites" with their own branding text beneath it. It was looking pretty sad after all those manglings. Even though it wasn't mine in the first place, I figured I have every right to steal it back from the person who stole it from me and remangle it to say "bottom 5%" again. Was a bit more careful this time ... It's the best this GIF has looked in years.

After the huge windstorm this morning, I walk outside at 10PM and it's over 80 degrees outside. I have a feeling the high front is moving in. I've known this time of year to go on a 30-40 degrees "f" swing in one week. This could be the week.

Tonight's feature is "Boxing Helena"; a film about obsession. The high points are seeing Sherilyn Fenn topless and seeing Art Garfunkel at all. With a short stand-in of the dude who played the lead in "Twister" as an egotistical rock star type (which is surprisingly a good character match). This was one of those flicks that there was no compelling reason to watch - but once you started, it was impossible to turn away...
