Got the inside scoop on the Netscape/AOL layoffs. It was pretty severe this time (as if it never was before). There are only about 200 people left on the Mtn. View campus. They could all fit into one building now - unlike the twenty something buildings we once occupied. The San Francisco and San Diego offices are being closed down. By next year, I doubt that there will be anything left on the west coast.
