I know I haven't reported much progress on the yard in the last few weeks because, well... there hasn't been a lot. the fence has been the only thing of note recently. But today I was back out there, shoveling dirt. At least until the rain started... Obviously my early enthusiasm has waned a bit; when I took on this task because several landscape designers and contractors stood me up and I felt like "Screw them. I'll just do it myself!". That was back at the beginning of this year. It won't be finished in 2001 - that's for sure. As for 2002, a few more months and I might try and see if maybe they aren't so freaking arrogant now that times and fortunes have changed a bit. On second thought - no way. Let the bastards starve.
Went back on the flu drugs again. I usually avoid them if possible but after a couple of weeks of this, the question of which I hate the most (the flu or pseudo-ephedrine) is starting to tilt decidedly the other way.

Avoid cliches like the plague. They're a dime a dozen.
