A couple of days ago I almost wrote in amazement that there were no Michael Jackson headlines. Glad I waited. Last night you couldn't find anything but Michael Jackson in the headlines.

Been busy behind the scenes working on software once again. This time it's an electronic store front. Finally decided to bite the bullet and try and pull in some internet sales. No, it's not even ready enough to look at yet, but I've made a lot of progress. Now to establish some payment connectors and accumulate some shipping supplies. Oh yeah, then there's the whole issue of inventory that I've got to enter - one item at a time. I'm going to start off small. The big problem is that I've got to separate the online inventory from the store inventory. I don't have the store inventory online - and until I do, I have to acknowledge that somebody making instant payment isn't going to wait around for goods - so if I say I've got it, I've got to have it. Can't sell it out from under them. It's really a lot like opening a second store, except that there aren't a lot of extra overhead costs. And I already have a bit of extra inventory to pull from...
