Not many people shopping in this heat.

Not many people shopping in this heat. We've got that inverted breeze bringing 100+ degree air in from the Central Valley. Glad I'm not living there. Sales have been slow the last couple of days. Still it's looking a bit more promising. I believe I've sold at least one guitar every day since the big bang a week and a half ago. If I can sustain that, I might just make it through this mess. Still just the cheap guitars, but I've gone through a couple boxes of 'em. That's where the money is in this game. Next time I buy more, it's a twelve-pack instead of a six-pack and a price break of a few more dollars on each one. That conveniently makes up most of the lost profits from selling at a reduced price.

Talked to an insider. The community school isn't toast. They lost a big contract, but it turns out not to be a significant bottom line impact. They'll still be around. There are still school programs at risk, but so far it looks like music programs are still on for the most part. I've got a handful of band instruments ordered. Just enough to get by if this turns out to be the last order.

And there really are new music studios around the corner. Mad Studios. I still haven't made contact but I at least found the place.
