I just mentioned those old email archives the other day.
I just mentioned those old email archives the other day. Now I've had a flurry of emails from folks that are engaged in a legal case. They need to know precisely when IMAP was first available with an SSL security layer. Turns out that I happen to know a little bit about that subject. Those old archives suddenly have relevance. I can construct a pretty accurate timeline.

But it will require writing software to read that old message format. Oh yeah, I wrote the software that created that old message format. Might even have a copy of that. Believe I have the message from Luke - the first person to actually get it working.

The public eye seems to be focused on hurricane Rita at the moment. Due to hit the gulf coast in a day or two. All the public agencies are under pressure to get it right this time. I guess we'll find out, won't we?

Anyone can make an omelet with eggs. The trick is to make one with none.
