Where did the days go? Oh yeah, Christmas. It came and went. Had a small flurry of activity on Mon-Tues and pulled the sales graph out of the gutter. Wasn't nearly enough to pull away from the edge.

But then it was Christmas. I got lots of crayon drawings, all individually wrapped and signed, and 'To DoDD'. Oops. She's written 'DaDDy' so much in the past that now she thinks she has it memorized. Well, she remembered most of it. Close enough for me. Beautiful smiling people with colorful clothes and sunshine and sky and ground. What a treasure.

Amanda had her knee repaired Friday and had a few tough days, but she's getting around a lot better now.

And now it's all in the past. On to the next thing. I've got several things to do in the next few days in order to close out the year properly. Renew permits and insurance and stuff. The insurance thing is a long story best left for another time. Do a physical inventory. Roll-over the books. Process more rentals. Re-stock everything I'm out of (not a heck of a lot). It's all about January 1 now. Then I'm entitled to use the word 'veteran'.
