Everybody's tuned into the din surrounding former Treasury Secretary O'Neil. Did Bush plan to take out Saddam from the start? Probably. But if you look a bit beyond the fiasco du jour, it's a bit more interesting what's coming out of the mouth of another former Treasury Secretary - Rubin. Oh, nothing really. Just some blabber about how our economic house of cards is in imminent danger of catastrophic collapse. Nothing like, you know - important or anything.

Normally I don't even give a second thought to mixed race couples. But this pair was different. Middle-aged (about 8-10 years older than me) and both had South Afrikaner accents. Just slightly out of the ordinary. They would've fallen under apartheid when they were 'dating age'.
