The matriarch of Brittania slips the bonds of earth. The queen mother is dead. I find myself touched by the event. Has something to do with the roots of American culture as a subject of the commonwealth. Of course I was born in California and only my name has anglo heritage. For whatever reason I'm not equally touched if the former monarchs of Spain or the coastal fishing tribes pass away. Don't you find that interesting?

Happy Easter. I'll get photos up next week - occupied right now. Made my sales numbers (yay). I was so close to projections that I hit (and exceeded) them only in the last hour of the last day of the quarter. And it wasn't without some huffing and puffing. I wasn't going to miss projections as soon as I found that they were achievable with only a moderately good day. Saturday and nice weather to boot. Still had to work hard for every dollar.
