Yesterday was clock reset day of course. I just changed the three or four important ones again. Some of the others, like the VCR - will take longer. Some probably won't get changed at all this time. Like the heater and the sprinkler clocks. They'll be right again in another six months.
There's now a huge RV in the driveway. I checked - it won't quite hold all the guitars. But it'll make a nice spare bedroom since the rest of the house is jam-packed with stuff.
Parts of my sound studio are now going up for sale. I was just going to mothball them for a while, but space is at a premium. Both at the store and at home. Think I'll start over again. Technology has made a few advances in the two or three years since this system came out. Now I can do it all in one quarter of the total floor (er, desk) space. There's a new keyboard with a builtin gigahertz PC and monitor. That puts two elements into the size of one. Then add a good I/O box and do all the mixing from the keyboard's PC as well. And it's all digital. Record to the PC instead of digital tape. Another 8 square feet of desk space regained. That's a lot of desk space. The size of one keyboard and you've got a full blown pro recording studio. Cool, huh?
But first, I need money. Sigh... Details.
It's about time they took some pictures of some nerve gas. Oops - the pentagon hasn't confirmed it yet. We should know better than to trust anything that hasn't been officially confirmed. Learned that lesson over the last few weeks.
