When the American military conflict began I warned that every action has a reaction. Now it's playing out. In this case the unexpected reaction (or at least one of them) was that Israel would use the 'harboring terrorists' logic to go in and mow down everybody in the West Bank. Ah yes - they did find proof that Arafat knew about the suicide bombings. Damn tainted evidence though... But as long as they can be labelled terrorists they can be shot with impunity. That's the lesson we taught them.
The retail life just rolls right along, slow but at least in motion. The so-called economic recovery has been pushed out another year. Hate to say it but if this war against Islam continues, we're in this recession for the long haul. Oil you know.
This weekend I'll get back to taxes. Difficult to do when you've got a four-year old and two puppy dogs in the house. Especially one puppy that likes to chew paper stuff. Had to take all my tax records and stuff them away for a few days. Property taxes are done. 2001 income tax is done but not yet filed. 2002 estimated tax is due next week. Sales tax reports due the week after. To add insult to injury it's time for auto registration and insurance renewals as well. Yucko. I'm sure I missed something. There's some other tax event this month which escapes me at the moment, but I better get a handle on it quickly.

"That's true. But an idea can't be seen or felt. And that's what kept
