If only it were true... the local headline this morning "Bush Planning Mars Trip". But really, if we're going to send people to the red planet, let's get a few more rovers through. The odds of earth vessels surviving a Mars landing intact were about 50/50 before the current wave of rovers and things. I'd like to see a bit more proof of concept. The radiation is the killer. The only thing that'll block it is a lead wall.
