And whilst I'm trying to learn this sucky financial software, in bops the UPS dude. Didn't expect him today. It's President's Day and all that - though as you know it doesn't correspond to either of Washington's or Lincoln's birthdays. It's a holiday created by corporate America on a Monday and to avoid two in the same month. But I digress. The Jay Turser guitars came in. So did the Hohner and Crafter's. Yikes! When it rains, it pours. 20 some-odd guitars and an equal number of cases. That's one (or three) of the big deliveries I've been waiting on. I've already got the guitars out to look at, but I'm havin' a cardboard hangover. Didn't even deal with it tonight - left it for tomorrow. Could take a few days to clear out unless I feel like huffin' cardboard at 6AM tomorrow. Sigh... We'll see how I feel about it at oh-dark-thirty. My guess is that it's gonna' take a few days.
In order to get moving quickly I unfortunately let the vendors make a few decisions for me. Boy have I learned. Fifty guitar straps - I don't care what; anything but black nylon... And I get fifty zz-top straps (but all different) that'll take ten years to sell. Sheesh. Not the first time. But don't play this kid for a foo'. I'll take 'em 'cause it's better than what I've got - but don't expect me to let you make any more decisions. I will, thank you. I learn pretty fast. Oh and as for the sucky financial software, I'll save that rant for another day also. In a nutshell, I can do better with a paper ledger. All of the small business software is designed for contractors, not retail merchants. Ah yes, but ve' have retail softvare. Ten times as much. Oops, save that rant.
There goes that newly regained waistline. Decided to test hot sauces tonight. As in habeñero. Whew. Sontava takes the lead. Linda's is close behind. All on teriyaki beef sausage. Where's the beer?
