First relatively warm Saturday of the year.

First relatively warm Saturday of the year. What does that mean? Lots of people on the street. Throw the door open since I don't need to conserve heat and crank up the music a bit. Which of course is fine when it's AC/DC but kinda' changes the whole mood of the shop when it's ranchera music. I get some pretty strange looks sorta' like they expect to see a tacqueria and a bunch of dudes in polyester cowboy shirts.

I seem to sell things two at a time. Weird. Two violins in five minutes. Two guitars - also within several minutes of the previous purchase. Yesterday it was capos. Prior to that was metronomes. Things I'd expect to sell only a few a year. It's very atypical also because the first buyer is somebody where I have to work for my money and explain everything in detail. The second usually bops in the door and announces exactly what they want and they already have the card out.

God grant me the senility to accept the things I cannot change,
The frustration to try to change things I cannot affect,
and the wisdom to tell the difference.
