Whether or not there are many/any folks out there reading these pages, I'm burned out on these flaky machines. There's a huge memory leak in one of my necessary programs on the work computer. Windows doesn't give you much option except to reboot when it gets bad. As you're probably aware, some fraction of the time that you do this, some program will break and you'll have to either re-install it or try and re-create the registry environment. Yuck.

Managed to scrape enough together to pay the tax man. Now to try and scrape up enough for next month's rent. Had a reprieve from the dismal economic news last week and it boosted everything a tad bit. Might just scrape by.

Have to take back what I said about the "sniper". He's not a hunter or a soldier. Just a killer. Think he should get a firing squad, don't you? Well. first they have to catch him - but he's getting a bit arrogant. Forensic teams are pretty darn good these days. And he's got a few of 'em at work. Not to mention all the boys in blue.

Does it even phaze anybody that Microsoft is buying a location-tracking software company? Nah, didn't think so...
