Another large record store chain is in financial trouble. There are only one or two left. All the media business has gone to Wal-Mart and other budget consumer department stores. I was speculating about what would happen if it all went full circle. Records started out in music stores before the giant record chains came along. What if they came back? Interesting thought to ponder, but I'm not going to stock the top-40 any time soon. I really don't care for doing business with the recording industry, especially with all they've done to destroy popular music and civil liberties.
The New York Times kicked out its editors after one of their reporters apparently just made up stories for the last year and nobody noticed until now. Not sure about the editors, but don't worry, he'll be able to find another job. Sounds like the perfect candidate to analyze weapons intelligence at the Pentagon.
Meanwhile in New Zealand, a citizen there has decided to build a cruise missile from off-the-shelf parts available to the public; just to prove it can be done. He estimates it would only take about $5000. Mebbe' I should order a couple. Oh heck, maybe I'll just build a few instead. It apparently doesn't take a rocket scientist.
