San Jose, in the latest move to solve its perpetual identity
San Jose, in the latest move to solve its perpetual identity crisis will now be known as the city with the largest Monopoly board, to be constructed in some public place. Besides the obvious - getting San Jose into the Guiness book for anything; I fail to see the logic... Think of the maintenance costs. The dice (reportedly the size of TV sets) will be the most sought after dorm accessory at Stanford. I can't imagine them using paper money no matter what size it is. They must be planning a series of EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) terminals for the players. Likewise if the 'deeds' are printed media they will soon vanish and need replacing. If it's a computer terminal it will break or go obsolete over time. These will need to be vandal proof. I predict less than five years and some city budget cut will turn this useless eyesore into... a useless eyesore.
