The house is empty again. Long sigh... But the memories of the giggles remain.

2:30 AM doesn't exist when daylight savings kick in. OK - 11:30 PM if you live on the west coast. It's a b*tch to get this straight in computer code. Luckily enough people have done it now that the algorithms have been published. Just one of those little useless facts that's worth mentioning. Last time this happened I think I was planning on making an inventory of the two dozen or so devices in my home which ostensibly keep time along with instructions for setting the clock on each device. Alas, I didn't do it. So as usual I'll start with the watch and alarm clock and go from there as needed.

Always have to remind ourselves that things could be worse. Imagine if the Palestinians and Israelis worshipped different gods. And in pondering that - the whole situation suddenly becomes absurd.
