First guy in the door returns a $400 guitar he bought last week. The first one of those I've sold in ages. Sigh. Made me unlock the door for him at 9:59:59 AM. Can't they wait until I've had one smiling customer before ruining my day?

The death toll in Iraq is now creeping in on 1000. It'll be interesting to see if that number gets hit before or after the election. Of the 944 reported today, 704 were in 'hostile action'. What happened to the other 240 people?. Friendly fire? Natural causes? AIDS? That's quite a lot of folks (~25%) that just up and died for no good reason. As they close in on 1000, I wager the administration will start using the 'hostile action' number instead of the grand total. Wait and see.

Update - the day ends about $300 in the red. The operative word here is 'sucks'.
