As I suspected, I'll have to build the steps one at a time. I also had a close look at the soil and it's going to need stabilizing, meaning I have to dig it out much deeper than planned and use gravel to level it. I also need to make the steps deeper than planned. So what this means is that each step is going to be a several day project. There are four total. Each one will require about 300 pounds of concrete. But like everything I do, these aren't any namby-pamby steps. Do it right, do it once.
