The White House is still trying to prove that the bush actually performed military service. If you know anything about the military, everything involves a paper trail. So far we've been able to ascertain that he received paychecks and had his teeth cleaned. Nobody can recall actually talking to him or being in the same unit with him. No paper trail. Hmmm...
I find it even more amusing that to defuse the criticism over his distinguished military career, the bush is going back to railing about WMD's. It's deja vu all over again.
At least one "illegal combatant" has now been given permission to have an attorney. This sure isn't the same country I grew up in. That's the real legacy of September eleventh. The Bill of Rights is no longer a binding legal document. It's just another historical artifact.
So I'm solidly into year three now. Recall that half of all new businesses fail in the first year and 90% by the end of the second. After the pathetic Christmas season, things actually picked up a bit. I'm still here.
The Gambinos are in trouble again. They've been slamming phone bills for $40 a month (forever) if you call in for some phone sex. Ironic. As opposed to most phone sex schemes, it sounds like these customers actually got screwed. Again and again.
