Spring has sprung. Yippee.
Spring has sprung. Yippee.
Went to the Iraq Daily to get some alternative perspective and see what they had to say at this point. Silly me. Looks like the internet link to baghdad has been cut. Duh. Meanwhile the B-52s are on the way. Looks like that bungalo next to the Baghdad TV station wasn't such a wise investment afterall. Nobody's sure if Saddam is dead or alive, but the Iraqi army seems to be drifting without direction. But time to shock and awe these guys. So they say. We've grabbed a few wells and put out a few fires. We've rolled across the country pretty much unimpeded. The only shock would have to come from the other side, if anybody's home. Looks like anybody with any sense has left for the countryside.
Guy calls. What do you sell there? Uhm, musical instruments and accessories. Yeah, but what kind of musical instruments? Dude, you just made my day. Here goes - I got guitars and basses and banjos and mandolins and clarinets and trumpets and flutes and saxes and trombones and french horns and baritones and violins and violas and cellos and ukeleles and drums and sitars and bagpipes and accordions and harps and balalaikas and keyboards and didgeridoos and uhm, would you like me to continue? I'm about half way through. No, got any pro gear? Sigh... Yeah. Amps and mixers and PA's? That kind of thing? No. I wanted a Tascam model XYZ. Sorry, dude but you called the wrong place. Here's the number for your gear shop.
