AOL finally put the rumours to rest and acknowledges that a bunch of folks are going to get the boot. The other not-so-big surprise was that they are targetting 500 jobs at the iPlanet alliance. Seems to me that's about the entire Netscape contingent there; which I left over a year ago as it was already doomed.

I have to acknowledge the cleverness of one party attendee who reprogrammed the keyboard definition of my Linux lap-top whilst everybody was occupied at one point. The fact that they knew Linux so well narrows the suspects considerably. Not important... but ya' got me - now watch it 'cause payback's fair play.
