Forgot about that red thing, didn't I? Nevermind.

Forgot about that red thing, didn't I? Nevermind. So are you waiting for me to spill all the sordid little details? Should know better... But as it turns out she was buying it for her boyfriend. Sigh... There's a bright side. I got to tell a bunch of drummer jokes. Didja' hear the one...

Stopped in at the closest major competitor and said hi to the boss. Shouldn't have. They're packed to the walls with 6-7 times as much space. Wow. Lot o' stuff. I figure about 2.5 mil in inventory, up from about 1.5 around xmas or whenever it was I was there last. It's been a while since I've seen American made guitars. Oh well... I've been a customer of theirs for years and probably almost paid somebody's salary at some point. Still send them a lot of my customers. I just don't want to send them quite so many.

Take an old pair of jeans. Some left-over Easter egg dye. Lots of red - and some blended brown. Now smear it all over your hands and all over the old pair of jeans. Ever want to just fly through check-out lanes?

Speaking of old jeans, about 3-4 years ago I finally threw away all my size 32 jeans since I hadn't fit into them in years. Now I have to buy them all over again and put the size 34's on ice indefinitely. And cinching up the belt looks even funnier because the belts are now way yoo big as well. Could even stuff myself into a size 30 if the need arose. This while going through periods of smoking cigarettes and not. The only correlation is working at a desk job - fifteen pounds and 2-3 inches of waistline which magically appeared when I went into Information Technology and vanished when I left.
