The crisis du jour is the missing hamster. Escaped from the cage and hopefully found a good hiding place. There are three cats in the house. Also hopefully that room was closed. Hopefully we'll find her before the kitties do or she finds her way to the outside world. It's a lot of wishful thinking.

The hamster was found. Yay.

Now to figure out what all this network activity is. Sigh... Looks like another virus making the rounds. I'm getting a bit tired of these things. It's only a matter of time. Microsoft going open source. Think it'll happen? Not today. It would take at least a year to wipe out the anti-competitive evidence of past transgressions, what we call a code clean. So add a year onto some future date that the security problems finally achieve critical mass.

Many hard lessons have been learned. I need a full line of guitars, but that isn't where it's at. It's wasted inventory. Saxes and cellos is where it's at. There's no money left to experiment. I hope Mikey (the accountant) is right. The only thing left is faith.
