I'm really getting annoyed at the mozilla folks lately.

I'm really getting annoyed at the mozilla folks lately. Every time the browser becomes almost useful, they throw away the code and start over. It'll be another 2-3 years before the code is stable and useful again. In the meantime they'll have to re-write all the features they threw out to make it a lean, mean browsing machine. That was the goal of the last incarnations as well, ness-pa? And what happened? They bloated until they became useful. In the meantime we put up with real buggy code for a few years. Hope I don't get annoyed enough to (gasp!) switch browsers.

Out here on the fringes the weather is hot. The roof of my shoppe is being replaced. Oh joy. I love the smell of burning tar in the morning. Not. I've gotten used to the constant pounding after three days now. Just wish these guys had some rhythm.

I reverently believe that the maker who made us all makes everything in New
England, but the weather. I don't know who makes that, but I think it must be
raw apprentices in the weather-clerks factory who experiment and learn how, in
New England, for board and clothes, and then are promoted to make weather for
countries that require a good article, and will take their custom elsewhere
if they don't get it.
