So what's the news from the front? Another bombing raid.
So what's the news from the front? Another bombing raid. We are again reminded that the regime is crumbling, with of course no supporting evidence. We're closing in on Baghdad. They might use chemicals if we get any closer. Don't know if Saddam is dead or alive. Sounds just like last week.
They rescued the girl that got caught on the wrong road with the mechanics. I can hear the conversation now... 'Why don't you just pull over and ask directions?'. Even the Iraqis balk at killing pretty girls. Though I think I heard mention that she had been shot up a bit and some broken bones.
Over the last few days we also found out what became of all the prisoners that Saddam released several months ago. In exchange for freedom, they became the Fedayeen or however you spell it. Tell you, Saddam is or was a pretty shrewd sucker. Send out a bunch of rapists and murderers to coerce the population to fight.
Closed out the fifth quarter of business. Only slipped a couple of percent from this quarter last year when all was said and done. It was looking much worse at times. Just hope the next quarter is better, because I'm gonna' need that to pump up for the fall. Otherwise, it's the nonexistant plan B.
I wrote ages ago about the crush email scam. Somebody has a crush on you. Click here to find out who. Then you click and guess and they send a crush email to everybody you type in as guesses. Well, today the scam arrived again. But this time, it's apparently one of my co-workers who has a crush on me. This way they can collect names from the same domain and really cause some embarrassment. Hmmm. One of my co-workers. Intriguing. Wonder which one...
A British reporter finds a torture chamber beneath an Iraqi police station. Talking to an alleged patron of the facility he finds that one can usually avoid torture (and presumably prosecution) by putting up cash. $1600 for theft and about double that for murder. Hey Mr. Davis - I think I just found a way to solve California's budget crisis...
