It's interesting watching all the 3D flyovers. Here you are in the birthplace of modern civilization, watching tanks roll up the Tigris and Euphrates valleys that some claim is eden. Back to the cradle of the first empires. Empires against empires. That's the legacy of the years in between then and now. How many times have enemy forces surrounded that city?

We might have to resort to plan 'B' pretty soon. I hope they brought a couple of cases of nerve gas along to photograph. Yeah, I think there's stuff hidden there, but the probability is starting to get pretty low that we'll be able to dig it up in less than say 48 hours - when the world will start to get very upset with us otherwise. Somebody better fire one gas rocket before then. The scuds are still not confirmed.

The latest intelligence (what a misnomer) has Saddam wounded and one dead son. At least that's what the Brits say. Needed a transfusion reputedly. One of the first rules of the outdoors is to never corner a wounded bear.
