In junior high, the teachers loved to pull creative writing exercises analyzing Beatle songs. Find the hidden meaning. I tend to be of the school that says most of the Fab Four songs had little hidden meaning but that like religious works - one can find whatever they want in a song if they look for it. For this reason I always chose Norwegian Wood. Frustrated suitor burns down girl's house. This never went over well with the teachers, who were always hoping for an essay on the innocent puppy love behind I Wanna' Hold Your Hand or something.
I've got a lot of sympathy for the @Home folks that got turned off over the last couple of days. This follows my own DSL saga. You notice who's creating the chaos in the broadband industry so they can clean up and eventually get all the customers? That's right - Ma Bell and all her not-so-little-anymore babies.
