Productive day overall. Put new blinds in the studio. Fixed an errant monitor. Fixed the VCR which had started eating tapes (even though I rarely use tape anymore, Bella's old movies are mostly on old media). And we even managed to get to the pumpkin patch for a little train ride. Stopped by my closest competitor - the only one left in this town. Of course they were closed, but I sized up the store. They just doubled it and threw in some sound booths, but it's still miniscule. I've got the biggest and most well stocked instrument store in town. Without a whole lot of effort I could probably hurt them. But no point, because once you get into the hurt game, there are still bigger fish that could hurt me. But I know pretty much what they've got, and already know I need to carry many of the same things. And yeah, I really do want a few of those customers. It's a balancing act.
