The rumour mill has Time-Warner selling off the entire AOL
The rumour mill has Time-Warner selling off the entire AOL unit, which would of course include the remains of that little Netscape division. You know Ted Turner is behind all of this. Revenge. How best to get back at all the crooks who just about destroyed the value of his entertainment empire? Sell the lot to Microsoft.
The Arab delegates from several nations looked a bit fidgety sitting across from Bush at the peace talks. Yup, we'll do anything you say. We just watched you walk in and take Iraq, lock, stock and barrels and divide it amongst your friends. And he's a crazy mofu to boot. And not too bright. Forget talking reason. Yup, we'll do anything you say.
Hey, want to own a genuine Sputnik I satellite? You can get it on eBay for about 30k - less than a new SUV. But of course we really don't know if it's genuine. There seems to be a bunch of the things making their way through the collectible circuits these days. The government seems to think there should be five of the things. The real one and four backups. But there are around twenty or thirty in circulation. Either they're fake, or the CIA isn't very good at what they do. Hmmm... Which one do you suppose is closer to the truth?
