Happy Valentine's Day.

Continuing yesterday's rant... My feeling is that we darn well better have a terrorist attack after all these warnings and the economic disaster they've ushered in. Otherwise a few million small business persons are likely to find a better use for all that duck tape. Like to muzzle tom ridge and the bush.

Osama is now prepared to die in the eagle's belly. I think those are the words he used. Great. The mind reels. Is he gonna' fly a MIG into Kansas? Or smuggle himself in from Mexico and blow himself up in a shopping mall in North Dakota? Whatever. I think it's likely to be much, much worse. Mebbe he's already here. Course I still think he's in Asia minor someplace. Mebbe flying that MIG into an aircraft carrier qualifies as the eagle's belly.

And the pregnant lady that vanished a couple months ago? He probably did it. Everything just keeps pointing back. They didn't find any bodies at the Bezerkeley Marina, but it's a huge bay, and some parts of it are only accessible by water. My guess is she's floating in the marshes somewhere around Crockett.

In the local rag, there's a police blotter. Seems there was a strongarm robbery around the corner from my store the other night. In the parking lot at Villa and Franklin, across from the Tied House. This dude was desperate, and obviously not from around here. That would be the police station right there across the street.
