Today I'm fuming furious.

Today I'm fuming furious. I need to come up with a reasoned response. Did some snooping and found out pretty much every guitar store within twenty minutes of me now has the same brand franchise (which was promised to me exclusively). To be fair, it was a verbal promise with a sales rep that is no longer with the company. He told me he would let me know if anybody in the south bay signed up to sell the same guitars, and some ability to veto it - based on sales. The new guy is pretty agressive, as I've already described a few times. And to be fair, he never made any such commitment to me. So he just signed on the whole south bay to a guitar line that might sell 9-10 guitars in a year across the entire county. If I'm lucky, I'll now get maybe one or two of those, instead of all of them. And it was a huge investment to pick up the minimum stock requirements. So basically, this company screwed me. If it's any consolation, they screwed all the other guitar shops too. It's a US made guitar, but it's not one that anybody knows or cares about - at a premium price. Eventually, everybody will be selling them at cost to get them off the shelves. I should just dump the things at cost right now and be done with them. Time to find some nice guitars that somebody is willing to sell me. You'd think that would be easy, but it isn't.
