I'm starting to use the virtual mailbox feature of Mozilla

I'm starting to use the virtual mailbox feature of Mozilla more and more now that I've got some filters set up. It was a long wait since I did this in the mid-90's. Better late than never. That and the junk filter and my email is managable again. I notice they're working through some of the issues I used to deal with. You need to preserve highlighting when you switch views, for instance. And that takes some work. Because you see, just remembering whether or not a message position was highlighted in a particular view isn't enough. You need to know each message that was highlighted and re-calculate them all if the contents of the view changes. Or something like that. Anyway, they still haven't gotten it right, but I can tell they've been working on it.

A bit of fung shwe at the store, but I make my own rules. I've got a matched pair of guitars at the doorway. One left-handed and one right-handed. Both pointing in. Oh, the make my own rules part? Well the lefty is on the right side of the doorway. The righty on the left. The only way for your brain not to explode worrying about this obvious mis-match is to step inside, where they are now on the correct sides.
