The last vestiges of the retaining wall have now been removed. Another box checked off on the to-do list (and a big checkbox at that). Now I just have to dispose of all the concrete rubble. But no hurry, the next step is to dig out another four or five tons of dirt. Might as well make a full dumpster load of it. But I bought a whole bunch of drainage pipe under the premise that the most difficult phase of the destruction is now behind me and there are at least a few tasks I can do now to get started on the new.
